Slanted Theory’s ALAIRA Platform Selected For Oculus Business ISV Programme

Today, we are announcing that Slanted Theory’s ALAIRA platform was selected by Facebook for its Oculus Independent Software Vendors (ISV) programme back in October.

Oculus Business

Working with other enterprise developers and software companies, the ISV programme looks to accelerate customer adoption of VR solutions built for Oculus enterprise products. And in conjunction with Oculus for Business, during 2020, Slanted Theory expects to make ALAIRA available to Oculus enterprise clients accessing its data solutions.

“It is amazing to be chosen by Facebook to help accelerate the wider adoption of VR globally and join a team of people working to remove barriers for adoption. Oculus has an fantastic technology platform with their stand alone Quest headset and ALAIRA is leading the way when it comes to remote team collaboration and data visualization. There is an amazing future for this technology along with other providers such as the HTC Vive Focus, especially in conjunction with the release of 5G high-speed mobile internet,”

according to one of our founders Laura Smith, CEO of Slanted Theory.

It is clear that business and enterprise are still learning the power of this technology and the financial benefits it can bring. Real time collaboration for analysis is just one of the benefits reducing financial burdens. Yet giving users that real time interactive experience missing from today’s traditional meeting tools. And access to more data, than typical users can see in their monitors to support better and faster decision making. ALAIRA is being developed to meet these business needs providing virtual meeting rooms and interactive data visualizations which save customers time and money. We’re excited to see an acceleration of adoption over the next 18 to 24 months.
